Some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants don't help...

Well I've been going through a bit of a busy patch at work recently which has had a rather detrimental effect on everything non work related, from dance classes, to guitar practice and even blog posts, movie watching and general reading...

I did manage to go home over the weekend, and really enjoyed my self gorging on some good 'ol home cooking. Lots of sea food, lots of sleep, movie watching and reading and general lazing about the house with my dog sprawled all over my feet. My experience at home taught me that there are certain things I shall never go tired off:

1)Prawns (all of my Mum's cooking but this most especially )

2)Calvin and Hobbes (The little pearls of wisdom, like the title of this post never cease to amaze or fail to lighten my mood)

3)Lord of the Rings (I went home and watched the Two Towers for what was probably the 4th time yet I still get goose bumps during certain scenes...)

4)Diana Krall (My crush is not lessening over here - sadly or otherwise :P Have now seen / heard the Paris concert at least a half dozen times)

5)Mallu grammar and Mallu advertisements, which often completely disregard common sense or colloquial / alternative meanings (A particular gem on this trip was an advertisement for "PMS" - A school with values)

Having got back to work and city life, have resolved to recommence all the past times I had put on hold, but as Calvin says - "-You can't just turn on creativity like a faucet. You have to be in the right mood - Last-minute panic." So let?s see how long this resolve lasts.
